My ultimate goal is to help your children strengthen their roots and grow their wings to enable them to independently continue their communication journey.

Erin is a graduate of Appalachian State University where she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Communication Disorders. Erin worked with a variety of populations in many different settings during this time. While she enjoyed all of these unique experiences, she realized that her passion was working with individuals to support their functional communication.

Erin spent 13 amazing years with Let’s Talk Speech and Language Services in Raleigh, NC. During her first year at Let’s Talk, she trained under Tracy Vail, Autism Consultant. While training with Tracy, Erin deepened her understanding of verbal behavior, applied behavior analysis, and how to best support a family during very challenging times. Over the course of these 13 years, Erin had the opportunity to work collaboratively with other Speech and Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and ABA instructors to develop an interdisciplinary treatment approach. Erin will forever be grateful for this experience as it was from this, she developed an interest and passion for working with children and young adults with a diagnosis of Autism.

Over the past 6 years, Erin has not only continued to work with children and adults in the areas verbal apraxia, articulation/phonological disorders, language disorders and augmentative and alternative communication, but she has been working as a consultant. In this role, Erin supports adults by working with multidisciplinary teams to help the client meet their goals. Erin has enjoyed every second of supporting families as they work to help their love one enjoy a fulfilling and communicative life as well as increase their independence. She believes that a collaborative approach with the family, therapists, and school is critical in supporting each individual to reach his or her full potential.

In her free time she enjoys biking, hiking, playing tennis and exploring with her husband and two children.
